This class focuses on hand-building techniques such as working with flat slabs of clay and rolled coils, rather than using a pottery wheel. These methods are accessible for a wide range of physical abilities and allow for creative exploration without the physical demands associated with using a pottery wheel. This class will be taught by artist, Sunsuk Lee, who aims to teach students the skills and techniques needed to accomplish their goals.
Our eight-week pottery classes provide intensive, hands-on instruction in a supportive and creative environment. With small class sizes and personalized attention, students can hone their skills, explore their creativity, and connect with a vibrant community of fellow artists. While this class is geared towards beginner students, due to our small class sizes, intermediate students are also welcome!
